What’s a perk of your job you enjoy?

Would you say you do as much at home? Better balance?

@Ethannuel I'd say I'm more productive at home, and the flexibility is unmatched with work and life. I save money on commute, and more importantly time! I can even sleep in a little later (I am not a morning person), because I don't need to commute.

@ShadowWolf Wow, it’s a no brainer then. Sounds like most people should do this!

@Ethannuel Yes! And other companies need to realize the world has changed, and they do not need a good percentage of people on site. For many jobs, especially white collar jobs, it's pointless aside from team building exercises. Remote work is the future! I also get very generous paid time off and paid holidays. 5 weeks of vacation a year, etc.

@ShadowWolf Sounds like it’d be more sustainable too (i.e. less travel, smaller carbon footprint, less single use etc.).

Crazy how it took a pandemic to make us realise the benefits!

@Ethannuel Also more productive time! Less time commuting means more time working! No chance of an employee not making it due to car issues, and also employers save money by not having to have as big a office space/owned leased. It's a win all around. Some employers just need to get out of the dark ages.
