Tron@40!. Sci-fi classic?

Anyone ever see the first Tron movie, in the cinema, back in 1982?

If so, do you have fond memories of it and do you think it has aged well?
SW-User
I saw it on acid. No lie.
Wol62 · 51-55, M
@Jeephikelove He was probably talking to the characters.
SW-User
@Jeephikelove @Wol62 It was unbelievable. I couldn't tell where the screen ended and my hallucinations began.
SW-User
@Wol62 @Wol62 Oh, and that was at an army base theater.
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
Not in the Cinema but we had a bootlegged copy and watched it at last 30 times. Loved it. It probably hasn’t aged well, the graphics were good for the day but not now.

@Jeephikelove Wow, sounds like you are a huge fan of the movie!
Jeephikelove · 46-50, F
@Wol62 maybe not huge but I quite liked, because it was so different it fascinated me.

@Jeephikelove Absolutely I loved it to, it was awesome.

Wol62 · 51-55, M
@DIABLISS Really, you thought it was that bad?
@Wol62 Yes! We walked out making jokes about it and worried it was the end of Jeff Bridges
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Never saw it.
Wol62 · 51-55, M
@Degbeme Fair enough, not even on cable?
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@Wol62 Nope.
LadyBronte · 56-60, F
I saw it back in the day. As I
I recall, I wasn't a fan. Doubt the graphics have aged well, but that aura of "cheesiness" now might end up making it a cult classic. 🤷‍♀️
