Well to clarify, it wasn't Saul who took down Howard, it was Lalo.
I think this event is more about Kim. She's completely immersed in her "Giselle" persona and even taking that into consideration, I can't imagine she is going to be able to justify his murder and keep going forward like this, that whole scene was shocking and horrifying.
