are tv shows of the 1950s in the public domain now

because i was wondering if i could get away with uploading a robin hood episode from the 1950s tv series to my youtube channel, would this now be in the public domain? if not i believe it should be, i'm sick of copyright rules, curse them!!

Yes they should be, especially if it's Disneys Robin Hood. The copyright was specifically set to 50 years, to allow an artist to benefit for basically their whole life before passing it on to others
