Will Smith Last Night?

I cant see if this has already been asked many times as the search is useless.
I'm just wondering if people generally think his reaction was warranted or not? (Or was it a staged farce for ratings?)

I watched the videos about it this morning, and you can clearly see moments before he hit Chris Rock, Will was laughing at his jokes pretty hard.... and we all saw Jada's reaction that didnt find it that funny...and it is after that, that he stood up and walk toward Chris to slap him

I get that you wanna protect your wife/partner/husband, but when you, yourself are laughing at the lack of respect thats being showed to your spouse, I mean ain't that a little bit hypocritical of Will to have become aggressive for it... Just a thought

But then again, no one knows what goes through ones mind when this happens. I mean I know i'd let no one insult my kids or partner ,but would I act through it via violence maybe not

@SimplyMeChantou YEARS ago Smith and his wife openly admitted to the fact they both sleep around. So Smith don't mind then if Chris Rock cums in his wife's mouth...he it triggers him to say her name??? Really??? If saying her name affected Smith this badly...his priorities are really screwed up. But the ones who really were out of line............everyone in that audience who 5 minutes later gave him a standing ovation. He should have been escorted out of the theatre on the spot...then kicked out of the Academy....and his Oscar revoked.....according to their own policy. Then sued to the point he can't buy a Snicker bar.
