Will Smith Last Night?

I cant see if this has already been asked many times as the search is useless.
I'm just wondering if people generally think his reaction was warranted or not? (Or was it a staged farce for ratings?)

I can see it being staged. I didn’t even know the Oscars happened last night until I heard that news. I personally have a hard time taking celebrity stuff seriously, so I’ve been enjoying the memes regardless.
