Lots of people are attracted to people who they think are hard to get.. It's a challenge.. Yeah it's twisted and mostly ends in heart break and lost time and opportunities.. But that's the way of the world sadly.. A lot of people end up alone because they could not stop chasing people who have no real long term interest in them..

That's a great point.
Many just like to feel wanted, the attention, the buzz, the ego pumped up. But they won't commit and be in it for the long haul. This is most especially true on line.
