What are some good tv shows or movies to watch?

I've been enjoying the 4400. We also have the entire series of Northern Exposure on DVD. I didn't see it when it was first on. It's pretty good. If you're not familiar with it, it's about this guy from New York City whose medical school tuition was paid for by the State of Alaska, with the understanding that he would spend a few years as the town doctor in a small community that didn't have one. So he's stuck in this tiny, remote village of a few hundred people, mostly Native Americans and assorted Alaskan weirdos. There's this very pretty bush pilot that he immediately gets on the wrong foot with, so throughout the series they have this love-hate relationship. There's also this retired astronaut, an ex-con who is the local radio announcer, and a man in his 60s who marries a 19 year old because the men in his family tend to live well into their 100s and he doesn't want a wife who will die on him.
