Fellowship of the Ring. Peter Jackson nailed a lot of things. After that each movie became more ridiculous until I didn't bother with last of The Hobbit: ad nauseum, I think it was called.
I loved cinematography in the Mission.
2001: A space odyssey - for its time. Parts look dumb now, but it was the first to nail space travel.
