I will say that everyone that gets their idea of what it's like over here through the news media really has no idea.

@DDonde I absolutely agree. During my time there I found Americans generous of Spirit and unfailingly polite. The coffee on the other hand was a real disappointment.馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman Yeah the coffee sucks haha.

@whowasthatmaskedman hey, at least we don't drink that dark roast nonsense.馃榿

@DDonde This is even holds true for many Americans.

@whowasthatmaskedman That isn't coffee damn it.

@MethDozer I agree. Neither is the road tar served in most places. My benchmark for having been too long in America was when starbucks started to taste drinkable. 馃樂

@whowasthatmaskedman You just went to the wrong places for coffee. Roadside diners my homie.

@MethDozer I did those as well. Mostly boiled bitumen with (shudder) UHT milk pods. I love the food generally and the generous serves that a person can go a whole day on. But here even McDonalds does much better Coffee than the best I found in the US. They had to or the mothers wouldnt bring the kids there.馃樂
