@DeWayfarer Now that you mentioned it, Pole Position does seem kind of like an 80's version of Speed Racer.

My favorite Speed Racer episode. And my favorite "villain vehicle" from the series. Actually a pretty innovative and creative way to smuggle a fortune in stolen gold bars.
