@Swoop62 They still play Blondie's version on the station I have on, even though it was around before I was even born. They never play Miley's version for me to hear.

@HairbrushDiva Not saying Miley Cyrus is a bad singer overall but I heard that version on TV in between a game and sounded like a cheap band singing that. As they say, if you can't play good, play it loud. I was around for the Blondie version. Not a very favorite song but do like it.

@Swoop62 I can't say I agree with this "if you can't play good, play it loud". That's just two different ways of annoying people. Lol :)

@HairbrushDiva hey, you had to have been to dances with local bands to appreciate that. get it loud that you can't hear a bad singer.

@Swoop62 That's what a lot of awful bands do. They think the loudness disguises the awful singer, but it doesn't. It only makes it worse.

@HairbrushDiva It does disguise if you can't hear him or her. Not saying we now have a great song but at least can dance with just music. We shall view this differently but that is how I see it from my past experiences and I had sang a couple and glad for loud music. Turn it up!!!

@Swoop62 I like to listen to something tuneful and pleasant, not just an awful noise.
