Money matters with a hopeless Fellinianic
Yesterday applied for an Amazon credit card when i saw that the 120 subtotal could be down in the 80's for my Fellini purchase, they'll let me know within 30 days if i qualify. This would revolutionize ordering for me.
Why Fellini one may ask. So let me address that here.
When i got the Essential Fellini set, it was ALL upgrades of films i had DVD's of.
One in particular i need that is missing from that set which i just have a very poor dvd-r version of Casanova. Casanova is one of his most visually lavish productions, and is an extreme pity to have only seen it poorly.
The other 3 i've never seen before
Orchestra Rehearsal
City of Women
and his last film The Voice of the Moon.
The Clowns, and the omnibus films could be upgraded but i would wait for later for those.
And Ginger and Fred doesn't have a HD release so far.
Fellini is a good time kind of director, his best period and films are indeed in the Essential set, but i so crave to see the rest it is maddening!!
I am already deep in debt so unless i can get my own credit card, i won't do anything, and there'd only be 2 short months till i could afford those 4 titles Casanova, Orchestra Rehearsal, City of Women and The Voice of the Moon.
