Are you exited for the new Dexter ?

I never finished watching the original Series. I loved it at first but like you said, it became mediocre. I was in the middle of a Season, maybe 5 or 6, definitely after Trinity. It was pretty much the same thing every single time: Dexter finds another killer, someone he can relate to and they understand each other but in the end he has to kill them.
Plus the show started to make him have emotions he shouldn't have and legitimately care about Rita. Apparently in the books Rita is never anything more than a cover, which makes sense.
