I don’t usually watch super hero movies, but I’ve agreed to watch one with my husband. I get to choose.

If it's going to be a one-off pick something from the MCU.
Avoid the 2's and 3's as you'd need to know the backstory to make sense of it.
If you want a recommendation try something like Black Panther; Doctor Strange or Avengers Endgame.
