Which movie character have you always loved or hated?

I always thought James Cagney was great as Rocky Sullivan in Angels with Dirty Faces.

I'm currently rereading Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, by Horace McCoy, and looking forward to watching the movie again. Cagney was always great!
