1975-1980 were the best years. Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Jane Curtain, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Jim Belushi, Garret Morris, and Lurane Newman were the best.

Oh no, I re-watched the first two seasons and it always put me to sleep. Perhaps cutting edge at the time, vastly overrated now. Like every season since, there are more often misses than hits, but you get the occasional gem.
