What are your favorite fantasy movies/tv shows?

I confess, I love all the paranormal romances. Lol. Particularly fae and vampire. It’s so hard to find anything worth watching though! Everything is so dark or just entirely lame. Have you found any gems?

Some I’ve enjoyed include:

-Vampire Academy
-Beautiful Creatures
.....yes, both of those movies could’ve been made better, but I still love them lol
-Blood and Chocolate
-The Vampire Diaries
-Buffy —movie AND series

...and lots more not coming to mind right now :P Ok, I’ll admit it...I even like the stupid Twilight movies haha. I’m hopeless :P

So what have ya’ll got?! If there’s a love triangle or anything for a secret hopeless romantic, you get bonus points!

@SW-User I wasn’t too into movie Edward, but somehow book Edward was so sophisticated and cultured by the world and time when I read it! Of course, after the movie, he vanished and now all I see is movie Edward. Lol ai can’t even figure out how I made him out to be so timelessly fantastic 😂💁🏻‍♀️

@FantasyxGirl ikr he’s the right amount of obsessive and nice; I think it was the impact of Robert Pattinson playing Edward on my teenage self that made me fancy him like who wouldn’t want a hot vampire 🤭

But now every book has to remind you a million times that the lady ALLOWS the guy to open her door, protect her, etc. Maybe some of us like a guy who’s a little pushy or dominant 😂 I think it goes without saying we allow something if we’re not moving onto the next guy 😜And yes, a hot vampire or two is never a bad thing 😂

@SW-User 😂🤣 Oh he gives me al kinds of crap about my vampires and all that! We’ve been together about 9 years now, so he’s seen and heard it all by now haha. And he’s very much the dominant type, but not quite as controlling or possessive 😂
