@quinnlynn I once read an interview in which George Burns said that when he and Gracie started their stage act, the plan was for him to be the funny one and for her to be the "straight man." But they soon realized that she was getting more laughs then he was, so they switched the act around!

@DrWatson An extremely smart decision, she had great comedic timing. My favorite parts were when she'd be doing something with her neighbor, Blanche.
The way they'd giggle was infectious.

@quinnlynn I loved Blanche's attitude toward Gracie: amused by her flightiness and yet obviously loving her.

@DrWatson As well as confused by it at times, yet still sweet about it. Yep, I loved that too.
