Danny The Champion of The World by Roald Dahl. It's the best rebel story I've ever encountered. It always makes me feel amazing.

I'm talking about the book though. I wouldn't wish to see a film of it. It would ruin my imagination.

There was a film version made years ago with Jeremy Irons and his son. It's not as good as the book, but it's pretty damned good!

@Sucklemegood: Probably a good choice of actor but I still don't want to spoil my mind. Dahl is such a good story-teller that films of his books are entirely unnecessary. Even Gene Wilder couldn't quite do it properly...
