Always seemed like a really good guy, a Hollywood star who didn't seek out publicity and used his fame quietly to make tiny changes.

He's had cancer for four years and never talked about it publicly, and still managed to be excellent in any film he was in despite going through surgeries and chemo.

I know that any death is sad, but there is more feeling when it's someone you have got to know a little by seeing them through a screen.
