TL;DR: Youtuber theorizes the sequel trilogy is getting removed from canon as an "alternate timeline" and added to Star Wars Legends. Only a rumor, but with the addition of 'The Veil of the Force' a means of traveling between timelines, it's at least an available option.

Do not mention the sequels!

Star Destroys can't fly upwards on their own?!?!?!??! FUCK OFF!

@G00GLE That's just the thing, it's rumored those movies might not be canon in the near future.

@RedwoodBarman Fucking hope so! Force Awakens was alright but Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker were shit for Star Wars canon. They straight up ruin the lore!

@G00GLE can you explain "upwards"?
G00GLE · 26-30, M
@goldenorchid Away from the planet they are on. They literally said that in Rise of Skywalker

@G00GLE Yeah, RoS was a shit show. These planet busting war ships can't fly up without an antenna, it's a smart idea to ride alien horses on said warships in the rain, the galaxy refused to back the Resistance when the First Order had a handful of ships but jump at the chance to take on a mega fleet of planet killers, Palpatine didn't learn from Windu or Vader and couldn't turn his force lightning off immediately after it was turned on him, and so many more things that just made absolutely no sense or were suddenly shoved in our face for no reason and without notice.

The franchise could be saved if Disney would just follow the original lore.
