@PoetryNEmotion It could very well happen. Humans tend to think that their species is God's special creation and nothing could ever happen. There have been mass extinctions in the past, and there will be more.

@Masque Not currently. This virus will teach us a lesson. Those who don't learn may perish. The world needs to learn. Mankind will survive this. Who knows what else will happen? Learning means survival.

@PoetryNEmotion This planet has an expiration date, as does everything living on it. I know this is a different direction, but if we fail to branch out and colonize elsewhere, we're screwed. The entire human race is piled up on one planet. We could lose it all.

@Masque That seems to be a rather doomsday attitude. I do hear you though. We have destroyed this planet. And now off to other ones. I don't see colonization on other planets happening any time soon. Not even people living in large numbers on spaceships. Not in my lifetime. Maybe not ever...
