What tv show or film remake do you think they should have just left well alone

for me the remake of the first Oman shouldn't have been done

I didn’t ever see it, but back along Fawlty Towers was sold to an American network, who made so many changes that their version bore no resemblance to the original series whatsoever... what a crime!

@milkymum1 Not even sure if it was shown. I saw John Cleese talking about it in an interview once.
