The Joker was really good.

Watched it tonight. Joaquin Phoenix was amazing. Best performance I’ve ever seen from any actor.

The movie is supposed to be dated like early 70's right. Then they show this screen with 50 TV's playing various stations reporting the news, but one TV playing the Energizer rabbit, sorry that was not playing in those times.a flaw in the time continuum.

@Tugasaki someone did not do their research
Hmm I missed that part. I’ll have to watch it again @Tugasaki

@Tugasaki It's set in the very early 1980s. I didn't pay attention to the background, but the air conditioner in the window of the apartment was too modern for the early 1980s. Was the bunny the Energizer bunny or the Duracell bunny? Energizer was late 1980s and started as a parody of the Duracell bunny from the 1970s.1980s, I believe. I was falling asleep by that part of the film with the tv screens, so I would have to watch it again.
The gay blade of Zorro was on the marquee as the Wayne’s left the movie theater. That movie is dated 1981@toddr13

@Quoththeraven That's right. I remember that. Some of the cars were off, too, the BMW and Lincoln Town Car. The Town Car had a newer, post 1985 grille, and the BMW was an e30, when the e21 was the 3-series in production until 1983.
