Is Being John Malkovich good?

Got thru 40 mins and its too slow. Should i keep watching?

I also found out john M is s real person. Sp why is this fantasy type movie about him and named after him?

I liked it. That doesn't mean it's good, just my opinion.
I don't know why the title and using the real name. I didn't know it was a real person when I saw the movie but it was a fun bit of trivia to find out later.
