I Love Movies

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=glmjvKbn3ds]

Years turn into nights as if awaken by vulnerable seasons, alive in awareness of the dying as you are near.

Splendor In The Grass
Wordsworth

Though nothing can bring back the hour

Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower,

We will grieve not, rather find

Strength in what remains behind,

In the primal sympathy

Which having been must ever be,

In the soothing thoughts that spring

Out of human suffering,

In the faith that looks through death,

In years that bring the philosophic mind.
Well in the Warren Beatty/Natale Wood movie, the idea of pointless sexual repression in the twenties in America...was paramount.

Sad era.
@Stilltryinghard yes. Wonderfully sad movie. Great use of Wordsworth's poem as well.
@MelancholyMoon TY

Maybe we can talk here some more sometime.... ;=)
