Is Vikings a really good series?

I have not watched tv series in about 10 years. I have heard that game of thrones isn't that great and fans are crazy somehow. Would you recommend Vikings? Is it good from the start or I have to go thru bad episodes first?

@TheHealthyWorld We are passionate that's all. Give it a try. It is really good. But I agree with ScarletWitch about the walking dead it is pretty awesome as well
