Do you think Billy bob thorton got possesed by a spirit for the movie "Sling blade"?

I mean all the evidence is there to support it.. He said he was standing in a mirror and the voice for Karl just came out of nowhere along with the opening monologue which he said was very bizzare.. Also he was frustrated with his life at the time while standing infront of the mirror and spirits feed off of negative energy.. And also he made a sling blade short film called "some folks call it a sling blade" that starred Molly ringwald and she said during the making of it when they where doing the scene of her interviewing him he didn't want to rehearse it he wanted to shoot it the first time they acted out the scene which she thought was bizzare and said when they filmed that scene and she seen him for the first time go into the role of Karl he was terrifying and her reaction in the scene was genuine so idk my family has always loved that movie but the more I've been researching it seems there was more to it than most ppl knew..
