Did you know Stephen Hillenburg actually disliked the way Spongebob was being marketed by Nickelodeon?

I was reading some Spongebob facts and apparently Stephen Hillenburg hated the commercialization of the show and the movie idea. More so he disliked the use of fast food tie in promotions using Spongebob.
