@JollyLily I've decided since weeks that before someone kills her, Dany realizes she's not meant for Westeros, people doesn't love her, so she takes the crown but goes back to Mereen with Drogon and the Unsullied, to rule Essos and leaves a lieutenant (boring Jon or someone cooler like Tyrion) on the Iron Throne.

I would have accepted and approved your solution. I still say the shift to bat shit crazy for Daenerys was unconvincing for me.@Sharky86

@Lonelymanik I keep hearing season 8 is a disappointment. However I would like to see the television series to it's end.

@JollyLily quite enjoyable. Understanding that it started in 2011 I am glad I chose this year to start watching it in it's entirety.

@Lonelymanik 50% sure George R. R. Martin purposefully delayed the book just to gauge the audience reaction to the show’s ending. I wish the book was released first. I mean the only reason those early seasons were very good is because they were based mostly on the books.

@JollyLily yea true. But his interview he also said that he's not good at speed writing, he mentioned how the producers was behind his back all the time to.make it fast. and he also said he started it 1991 and never know that a show will start but at the end its all business. He knows for sure the season 8 is not good for the fans so he's keeping his fans interested and occupied by delaying it.

What one or two things would you change
I would have liked Drogon to fry Jon snow.
At least Sansa did not end up on the throne, that was my biggest fear. Also did Tyrion get a brain tumor in about season 4? I need an explanation for why he stops being smart or funny.

@monte3 I'm sorry for the late reply. I don't know how I missed this comment.
I would've changed a couple of things. But I think I would have rewritten the scene with the council that decided to name Bran king and send Jon Snow to the wall. The entire scene seemed very cheesy and the dialogue was awful. It was just mere lazy writing.

We never even got to see Jon Snow's arc get completed. Like why was he brought back from the dead? Was killing Dany his greatest purpose?

And yes, I absolutely hate what they've done to Tyrion's character. He used to be fun to watch. I feel like I've missed him this whole season even though he's been there every episode but he wasn't the same Tyrion we grew to love.

I also had trouble with the ending of the Jamie Lannister arc. 7 seasons of development was reduced to “just kidding”.
I agree the council scene sucked. I understand the prototype of a more democratic political system was an attempt to show that “the wheel had been broken”, but Bran??

One small thing I did find interesting was Bran asking if there were any reports of Drogon, when being told no he says “maybe I can find him”. Which is interesting in both how and more importantly why. In the books hatching the dragons increases the potency of magic. Does he want to kill Drogen to remove magic? Or ....? I liked the idea being left open.
