@vss1234 I agree about the disappearance of plot armour. I feel bad for saying that I was disappointed more people didn't die. It would have added to the authenticity and shock value if say, Sansa, John Snow or Dany had died. Wouldn't it have been funny if ALL the good guys had died in Winterfell to leave the last three episodes about Cersei vrs the Ice King? 馃槀
The two they killed off were Jonah and Theon and both were classical tragic heroes seeking redemption through sacrifice. It was obvious Theon was gonna die for Bran and ludicrously obvious that Jonah would die saving Dany.
It has got more and more Hollywood as the show as progressed. It has lost something but... I still really enjoy it.
