I Love Movies

Today saw documentary They Shall Not Grow Old. Worth seeing! Director Peter Jackson took British WWI historic film, cleaned it up, in some cases colorized it, combined it with historic audio and made the soldiers seem like real people, many amazingly young.

The title comes from poem For the Fallen, by Robert Laurence Binyan. This is just a fragment:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

I liked the insolent, swaggering expressions a lot of the soldiers had.
