Am I the only one who gets lowkey uncomfortable watching Dr. Phil?

My family is hooked on that show, and I used to enjoy it too at some point, but...

Whenever the audience laughs at something one of the people say I just can't help but feel like they're being shamed. Humiliated on public TV. 😩

I get that they're getting help, but it still bothers me a lot.

That’s similar to Judge Judy, free litigation, and the price is possible public humiliation. I stopped watching Dr. Phil a long time ago.

@bijouxbroussard, I watch a lot less. I will hit it on occasion if something grabs my attention, but it's not like some of the better talk shows of the past that really had substance.
