I’ve done something similar where I’ll start watching the game about an hour after kickoff. By the time I’ve fast forwarded through commercials and halftime, I’ve caught up and saved myself an hour in the process. @ChipmunkErnie

The actual interesting bit about football is the moves and countermoves of formations and plays; second comes the actual physical execution of the plays. But you're right -- there are far too many long breaks and commercials to keep the action flowing smoothly, and the ridiculous inconsistency of the ever-changing rules has left millions of fans disgusted and confused.

@PainfulTruth You forgot the flops in soccer. Oh, are THEY funny. I loved the one where the player grabbed another player's hand, slapped himself in the face with it, then fell screaming to the ground, writing in fake pain -- and the referee called the guy whose hand was grabbed for the penalty! It's barely a step up from pro wrestling and not as interesting.

I think U R fairly close now how much watching is watching the ball? I watch the ass’s. I did off er to be an NFL Pre game jock strap inspector as u see all the guys adjusting their equipment during the game I think they need good shaves and correctly sizing. I got a lot of laughs and told the job had not been invented yet.
