Does anyone else think Bird Box is the most overhyped piece of mediocrity since the Blair Witch Project?

To my knowledge we are talking about two over hyped films that promised much more than they deliverd. If the only justification for the Blair Witch Project is some fan conjecture, ten that is pretty good evidence the film makers failed. Im not unfocussed just because I didnt buy into the hype@SW-User

I believe i asked the opinion of others in my original post. I believe that's fair. I commented on what I saw and my reaction to it. I believe that's fair as well. What I didnt do was impute motive or character to others which is what you did and that's not fair.@Daddy91

superficially it is. Orwells point in the book however is clear and a superior piece of writing than either of the films we are discussing@SW-User

You attacked the talent of those who made it and the tastes and intelligence who enjoyed it. So it’s very fair for me to call out your attitude of superiority in disliking it. No problem with asking for others opinions just don’t look down on people who enjoyed it.
