I Like Movies

I finally got around to watching Hereditary. I'd put it off because of all the hype surrounding it upon first release- I wanted to give it a go once the hype had died down, so I would be watching it with fresh eyes.

Wow. I can't believe so many people hated this film. I was pleasantly blown away. It's everything I love in a horror film- slow burn, dreadful, disturbing, and subtle. Any time a movie can keep me wondering, I know it's a great story, because so many movies these days I can unravel in the first 15 minutes.

This is one I would definitely watch more than once. Beats the hell out of that piece of garbage Birdbox. 😒
