Does it mean you’re getting old when you no longer know who the newer celebs are ?😆

I’ve never been able to keep up with celebs in general but I always had an idea of who the few popular ones were or I was atleast aware. Now I feel like I never know who any of these celebs are that people randomly will bring up or obsess over. I’m just always lost and confused because i feel if they’re this well liked I should be aware of who they are 😆 I think I’m just oblivious...maybe. 😬

Lool, my cousin brings up random celebrities. I'm like "who?". There's this running joke in my friend group, and it's like "If Emily doesn't know them, they're not really famous."

@SW-User 😆 I think it means you’re getting old literally. I’ve never cared about shit like that eitherway but when you’re younger it’s kind of unavoidable to not be aware of who certain celebs are because of all the idiots you’re surrounded by with school and what not blabbing about them and once you’re no longer surrounded by that you don’t really hear about it.

@Stark Eh, I didn't really hear about it in high school. I graduated earlier this year. But perhaps it's because the people around me didn't really talk about them much, either.
