I hate to be confrontational but I think she is an amazing doctor, I have watched from William Hartnell also ( I hid behind the sofa as soon as the theme music started before creeping slowly back out) Jody has the same zany charm of Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee, David Tennant ( who I would jump into bed with any day)
give her a chance and she will grow on you, even her Accent 😂

@Alice60 I don't think we will see any of the old monsters during this series.

Can't help you with that, but I'd be very interested to hear your opinion on the new Doctor.

@tropicaltiger OK, each to their own. But it's still fantastic that the series is still going.

@tropicaltiger Like you, I've been watching it since it first aired on Australian television in the early 60s. It's gone through a lot of changes, but that's not always a bad thing. Some of the early shows were crap, others were fantastic and most were good. The new format took a bit of getting used to, but I didn't find it that bad. But, like I said, that's my opinion.

You could point out they have introduced politics and racism to the new series.
