Best horror movie character and why?

Boris Karloff as Frankenstein........Classic !!

"Werewolf of London", Universal, 1935 starring Henry Hull as the "werewolf". It was well before Lon Chaney Jr's. portrayal of the "Wolf man", 1941. If you've never seen "The Werewolf of London", watch it. There's a good deal of "religious themes" in it, as there were in certain Boris Karloff portrayals of the Frankenstein Monster. Karl Laemmel having part in these movies introduced a religious theme in them.
