My take on Captain Marvel drama

It's mostly unfounded...I mean, it's clear to see what peoples gripes are with the little we've seen.

The main actress seems to have one face and one face alone, boredom.

A lot of the more outspoken people seem to think people are saying "She should smile more" and taking on a sexism argument...the problem is she doesn't seem to emote enough...I think she smirked at one point but that's about it?

I mean, if Marvel fans were really that sexist then why are characters like Black Widow so popular? Or Scarlet Witch, Maria Hill? There are other female marvel characters out there that are popular because the actresses playing them have given them depth. Even a character like Gamora who is rarely seen as happy in these films is still pretty popular.

I think my point here is not everything is about sexism or racism and such, sometimes things can be as simple as she doesn't seem all that into the role...I'm sure if a male character was played the same way he'd get hate for it too.

Still, this is my opinion and you should feel free to challenge or agree with it, it is a free country(website?) after all...
