Naoki Urasawa's Monster, Code Geass, Steins;Gate, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Hunter x Hunter (much more than it seems at first), Death Note, and Clannad. Neon Genesis is okay too. FLCL is nostalgia city for me and I love the OST, but I don't know that I'd rate it in in the top ten for anime even though I like it as much as ones that I would put in the top ten because I feel a lot of it is because of nostalgia and not based on things the anime did well at least on purpose besides maybe the OST. Did I mention I like the OST in FLCL, I do.

Edit: Cowboy Bebop as an honorable mention, Samurai Champloo looks good too, only seen the first couple of episodes though.

@Abdulraheem123 Thanks, I'll give you little synopsis like th3r0n did as well:

Naoki Urasawa's Monster: Psychological thriller, don't want to say much on this one besides that it may seem a bit slow, but no scene is pointless or wasted. It has a small cult following, I don't know of anyone that has seen it and did not love it. I also know almost no one among my friends (most are into anime) that have seen it.

Code Geass: Think gundam warriors and a flawed but driven boy with a power that could help him throw over the world government.

Steins;Gate: Time travel, characters, comedy, rewatchability, an anime I've cried more watching this anime than any other.

Hunter x Hunter (2011): It looks like a typical shounen with a goody two shoes young boy protagonist with immeasurable power and that there is never any doubt who will win in the end, do not take it at face value. Trust me. Also, some of my favorite characters ever are in this anime.

Death Note: Hooks you in right away, I don't think I need to give a synopsis for this one. xD

"Clannad" & "Clannad: After Story": Feels city, also hilarious (probably more hilarious because of the lows). The video in my about me section is from Clannad, though the dub (it's also in the sub but I couldn't find a clip that part in the dub to embed).

Cowboy Bebop: About a space cowboy (bounty hunter), kicking ass and taking names, it is reminiscent of old western films with a futuristic/space spin. Somewhat episodic at times.

One-Punch Man: Was not on the list, but I realized it should be. It's a parody of superheroes, super villains, and tropes associated. The conflict is that Saitama, the protagonist cannot find any pleasure in life, living a bored life. The reason? It is simply too easy, he defeats any evil with a single punch.

Edit: Oh my god. I forgot to give a short synopsis for Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. Think mechs with this anime as well, but way over the top, funny, character focus, and developments you probably won't see coming *(more than it seems at first as well, like Hunter x Hunter).

I have seen death note and I have yet to watch anything that beats that for me. Brilliant show. And I’ve seen one punch man it’s great also but yeah I’ll have to have a look at the rest, again you seem to possess great knowledge in anime shows so that’s great @YukiSohma
