'Anne With an E' or 'Anne of Green Gables'?

While I truly do love Anne With an E, I have to say Anne of Green Gables far exceeds this new rendition in every possible way. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they will do with a third season now. I'm disappointed that they've strayed pretty far from the original story line, but I'm trying to keep an open mind! What do you think?

@SW-User I'm so happy so many of us are in agreement! It seems our society has to make everything 'darker' to be more 'authentic'...but that innocence and raw emotion was as authentic as life can get! It doesn't all have to be so heavy. I wish more directors would realize this!
