I'd like to nominate another one: Titanic, the flick that was responsible for making a whole generation of prepubescent girls believe that if you met a charming attractive guy and, within hours of meeting him, had sex with him in a parked car, he would fall in love with you with a love so real and true that he would cheerfully sacrifice his life to save yours.
