@Sniper first those cities are full of guns, the NRA wouldn't miss out on huge markets like that. Second, if you don't mind blind insane people running around with automatic weapons I guess you don't put much value on your own life

@Sniper That's false. Chicago has tight gun laws but the states that border do not, so they get guns if they wanted to BOTH legally and illegally. The other two states bordering Illinois don't regulate nor require a license.

You can still conceal carry in the state of Illinois with a license for residents.

It's simply unfair to blame Chicago and use that for gun control not working if you're going to ignore other variables. The rest of the American states need to get on board with gun control if it's going to work.
