on the danger of soundign like a really old hag...

but movies are getting worse and worse. sure there is the occasional great movie like "Interstellar" but in general the quality is in a steady decline.

On the other hand TV-series are getting better and better, gems like Game of Thrones or Stranger Things are so much better then anything in the cinema now.

are movies dieing out ?

`no you are correct ,movies are not what they used to be.....i used to look forward to movies coming out, not so much anymore, too many zombie end of the world apocolipse movies and way to many remakes ..doesnt anyone have any new ideas instead of rehashes
