I'm a Movie Addict

on the danger of soundign like a really old hag...

but movies are getting worse and worse. sure there is the occasional great movie like "Interstellar" but in general the quality is in a steady decline.

On the other hand TV-series are getting better and better, gems like Game of Thrones or Stranger Things are so much better then anything in the cinema now.

are movies dieing out ?

I wouldn't say they're dying out. I think as we enter our forties, we cease to be the target audience, with regards to film, music, etc. Television is a different story, our demographic still matters to them. I rarely go to the theater these days, because frankly "Batman 27" doesn't interest me. I've had my fill of Star Wars/ Superhero reboots, but they make lots of money without me. Luckily tv/Netflix still cater to my age group.
