Look at the transition of movies of old to whats on TV nowadays

Do you think that society was always as corrupt as it is now like what we see on TV? Do you think ladies and gentle men were extremely well mannered like in the 30's-50's like in the movies back then?

There was the Hayes code to keep things to keep it clean in the movies,on television it was stricter.I do believe real life discussion was more civil,then ..certainly in public
