Seen a few of those, Fritz Lang was a genius. Set in the Weimar period is Fassbinder's Berlin Alexanderplatz, about an imprisoned pimp's readjustment to society.

@oneperson Hi, are you the one who took the trouble of viewing Veronika Voss a few months ago?

I've always avoided his Berlin Alexanderplatz. I really wanna read the book very, very badly, but I need to learn German first lol
I love Fassbinder though. I think Chinese Roulette was the last one I watched. He's so great, I'm basically addicted to 'Lili Marleen'.
I'm totally gonna watch a Fassbinder. Thanks loads

I'm sure it's been translated, I'm just annoying to the point I need to learn German. I love the Weimar Republic, it was so cool.
Wow, I hadn't even heard of EHDMA before. I've a number of his, but I'm always so busy and careful about when to watch them... there are such a limited number, it's almost like a special occasion for me. They're delicious, really.
My friend's name is 'Brando2'
I'll try and post more about film.

@oneperson Delicious melodrama .... Fear of Fear, and The Stationmaster's Wife are noteworthy. i think i'll make it an RWF night too ..... have you seen GW Pabst's Pandora's Box? .... Lang's Destiny too is great, it inspired Luis Bunuel.
