Spectre or Skyfall For Tonight's Insomnia Theatre?

@toddr13 i was leaning towards Skyfall initially, but there are some sequences in Spectre that are GREAT

@silkandlace Very true. I like both films, and Spectre is not as dark as Skyfall.

@toddr13 yeah, Skyfall was a right hook; then the handsome Mr. Craig looks younger again in Spectre?!

@toddr13 i must say though, the courtroom scene, SPECTACULAR!!!!!

Very much so, that was a powerful scene from Bond running to save M to the shootout.

And, I think Ms. Moneypenny is great in the modern Bond films too.

@silkandlace Yes, I think that the refocus of her character to be less of a secretary as in the earlier films was a good change. The tougher agent Moneypenny refreshed the character without disrespect to the original.

@toddr13 true, but, and maybe it's just me, i didn't like it,

@silkandlace I can understand that. Some didn't like the fact that she had the hard edge to her that the original characterization did not. I could never imagine the original engaging in a shootout or using her sniper rifle to take out one of the evil minions, as she was far too much of a lady for that.

@toddr13 Casino Royale remains my favorite of the Craig movies

@silkandlace I would agree with that, since the script was well written, as it should have been when Barbara Broccoli got the rights to make the film. The original Casino Royale, the psychedelic farce, was not a fitting film for Fleming's novel.
